Beautiful newly renovated rooms.Great staff! Relaxing sound of the air condition made me sleep so well :) In spite of the fact the hotel was full, and mostly by teenagers, it was very quiet. The two times I called reception due to heavy noise from a room, they immediately fixed it and silence again fell over the hotel :) The location is great, it only takes a few minutes to get to the beaches on that side, and maybe 20-25min walk if you prefer a less crowded beach as we did. Its only a few minutes to walk to the port and another five minutes walk to the main "plateia". The parallel street is the biggest street of three going out from the Dolphin Square, and is full of tourist shops, hotels and dining places. (Id recommend other places to dine but thats for Booked.net :) The family running the hotel is a very friendly one and the three of us really enjoyed the stay! The hotel also has a nice pool area (but since we've been to Kos several times we went to the beaches we always loved instead ;)) The Pool bar is also sufficient and has a wide range of breakfast/lunch/snackfood and pizzas, icecreams etc. in the menu
Tho the hotel room looked and smelled quite fresh each time we came back from the beach, there could have been a slightly better cleaning of the floors in the bathroom. Although it most likely was our own hair, it should have been cleaned a ltl bit better.... Having said that Id definitely recommend the hotel to others! I'd stay there again! I will!
The reception staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating
Not to far from the harbour and central Kos. Nice furniture. Nice swimming pool.
Breakfast is quite poor. Staff is not always kind...The hotel is quite tired...I am sure one can find the same quality for less money.
-Quiet location -Modern look of room -Friendly staff
-Breakfast was not so good.
Pool view from my room which had recently been done up and was very modern. Bar staff very friendly and enough sun loungers for everyone. Good food for lunch from the poolside bar.
Breakfast was limited. No fruit or yogurt, only bread, eggs and cheese and salami.
The location of the hotel is really good, which is very close to the beach and the city center. Staff is friendly. Price is fair. I can recommend the hotel to the people who does not look for the hotels comfort, butneeds a place just to sleep..
the rooms are not comfortable. The towels are far away from being soft. They just shave your skin.. Breakfast is very very poor. You have one type of cheese, which probably is not liked by most people, one type egg, and some cornflakes everyday.. At the reception we were told that there were nice pool view in all the rooms but when we got in the room, we saw that you can see the pool only when you are standing, because the the balcony doors are too high..
The room and bathroom were clean and looking really good. Since it was our anniversary, they put fresh white and red roses in our room, very nice. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The pool is small.
This hotel was very nice. It is walking distance to the centre where all the shops and restaurants are situated which is nice as you are not in the centre of it all but still close enough especially if you rent bicycles which is what loads of people do on the island. The staff were very helpful, rooms were very modern & clean, the pool area is very nice. Breakfast was better than most continental breakfasts we had in previous hotels.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms and lounge were very comfortable. They had thought of everything to entertain the guests including a collection of board games. The location was excellent, we could easily walk to the town center and back. The beach is very nearby. There were lots of tourists staying at the hotel and the swimming pool was a little small to accomodate all that were swimming in it, but nevertheless I can say that it's a great place to stay at. If I ever went back to Kos again, I would definitely stay there.
Smartly designed rooms, almost a design hotel (coordinated tailor made furniture, good finishings, well laid out and sufficiently ample room and bathroom), good wi-fi reception, balcony, mosquito screens at windows, proper shower booth, low price, fair breakfast buffet, one Italian tv channel (I spent 2 nights in the second week of October 2011 in room 215 @ 22 euros per night) - Stanze eleganti, quasi da design hotel (mobili coordinati e su misura, buone finiture, stanza e bagno tagliati bene e sufficientemente ampi), buona ricezione wifi, balcone, zanzariere alle finestre, box doccia vero e proprio, prezzo basso, buffet colazione discreto, un canale tv italiano (ho trascorso due notti nella 2^ settimana di ottobre 2011 nella stanza 215 a 22 euro per notte)
Perhaps a suitcase rest and a hanger for clothes could improve the room comfort (but to be coordinated with the rest of the furniture!).The bathroom has no extractor fan: why in such a careful restructuring of the rooms wasn't this taken into account? Perhaps, due to this, an unpleasant stench haunts the room at times. The bathroom wash basin is very small and the glass shelf above it hinders your movements when you bow to wash yr face. Corridor carpet in shabby condition.
My wife and I had an excellent time at the Imperial! We went to Kos town to visit friends but spent most of our day times lounging around and on the pool. Very friendly service and great location.
Can't think of much I didn't like, breakfast wasn't really my sort of thing but...........my wife absolutely loved the home made rose jam they served. It was nice.
Central location, nice rooms, friendly staff and nice pool
Having the option of swimming pool and very helpful staff for local information.
They were not so burocratic when you need documents or invoices from them. But at the end were efficient and helpful.
The staff were nice. They let us stay in the foyer before we were meant to check in.
The Imperial hotel looked nice on the website but the reality was that this was a very old hotel with stained carpet and the location was out of the loop with the town. Our room had a view of a residential apartments that were very close to us and so I had to close the blind so we didn't appear to be spying! The arguing from these flats were very unpleasant also. To be fair the hotel was not expensive however as there was many hotels to choose from I wished I had made another choice! The breakfast was not what I liked so we ate elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
